Before You Go

Free Printables: Generic Packing Checklist

It’s less than three weeks till I head over to Europe to visit my family and friends, and to indulge in a bit of the Mediterranean sun. I. Am. So. Excited! It’s going to be an epic trip – 11 weeks in total – and so I’ve already started to give a bit of thought to what I’m going to be pack, just so that I’m as well-prepared as I can be!

As I love my checklists, it was only natural that I would end up creating my very own standard packing checklist, to use and reuse every time I’m packing for a trip. And of course, I want to share it with all my lovely readers to (hopefully) make life a bit easier for you on your next vacation, so you can spend more time on planning what you’re going to do when you get to your destination!

Feel free to use this generic packing checklist how you like:

  • Cross out what doesn’t apply to you, or what you don’t want/need to take.
  • Add your own quantities required for each item. This should be dependent on how long your holiday is – but be realistic! You don’t need 21 pairs of socks for a 3 week holiday!
  • Add your own items on the last page for those extra things that you like to take. I like to remind myself to take my guardian angel pin that my Mother bought me many many years ago.
  • Check all items off the list as they go into your bag to ensure that you don’t tick something off and then forget it anyway!

Thanks for the packing advises and the printable checklist! Recently I am traveling a lot, so I need to learn to be a better packer and to be more keen in that area. Greetings
